What will the solar eclipse look like?
The solar eclipse will occur Monday afternoon, August 21st, 2017 between 1 and 4 PM eastern time. While the total solar eclipse will pass by south and west of the Tri-Cities (more info here), more than 95% of the sun will be darkened by the moon's shadow in the Tri-Cities (more south and west, less north and east).
