The Grinch, Frozen's Olaf among new balloons debuting at Macy's parade

An estimated crowd of more than 3.5 million spectators is expected for Thursday's Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in Manhattan.

The event will also feature a series of new balloons which have become a mainstay of the parade since their debut in 1927, according to information supplied by Macy's.

Illumination's "Dr. Seuss' The Grinch" is set to fly for the first time along with Olaf from Disney's "Frozen," Jeff from "Super Wings," and Chase from Nickelodeon's "Paw Patrol."

Thursday's 91'st edition will feature 17 giant character balloons, 1,100 cheerleaders, 12 marching bands, stars from stage, screen and television and the Radio City Rockettes.
