Crowe announces another run for Tennessee Senate

Tennessee Senator Rusty Crowe has announced his intentions to seek an eighth term in the General Assembly.

Crowe, 70, was first elected as a write-in candidate in 1990 and currently serves as chair of the Senate Health and Welfare Committee while serving as a member of the Education and Government Operations committees, according to data provided by the state and a report issued by his office.

He also served as an administrator at East Tennessee State University for 20 years and formally worked for the FBI.
