Not the charm: Man arrested for robbing bank for 3rd time

The third time was not the charm for a North Carolina man jailed without bond after police say he robbed a bank he'd hit twice before. A news release from the Greensboro Police Department said 36-year old Devaughn Damar Jones was taken in to custody Monday after police used video images to identify him as the suspect. According to the release, employees at a Bank of America branch told police that a man entered the business, passed a note to a teller and said he had a gun. After receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, he fled in a taxi. Police said Jones was arrested for robbing the same bank in 2010 and 2013. Police tracked Jones to a motel five miles away and arrested him without incident. (Copyright 2017 The Associated Press. All rights reserved.
