BRISTOL, TN - Restaurants around the Tri-Cities are preparing for a big crowd for Superbowl Sunday. At Valentino's Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria in Bristol, Tennessee, the owner tells News 5 he's stocking up.

A typical Sunday means 40 to 45 pizzas. Sunday owner Alex Ahmed said he's expecting to make nearly 80. At the end of the day he anticipates using nearly 100-pounds of cheese.

Ahmed also said the restaurant will be heavily staffed, all to meet the increase.

"We're trying to do our best preparing best dough, fresh cheese, all of our vegetables," Ahmed said. "We're trying to do our best to keep the customers happy."

Valentino's will be open from 11a.m. until 10p.m. and they're just one of many places that will be open and serving hungry football fans Sunday.
