Carter County robbery suspect captured

CARTER COUNTY, Tenn. - The man accused of robbing a Carter County pharmacy has been arrested. Carter County Sheriff Dexter Lunceford tells us deputies received a tip about a Ford Explorer at a home on Keenburg Road. It matched the suspect's vehicle reported earlier in the day. After several hours of surveillance, deputies obtained a search warrant for the house. Sheriff Lunceford tells us they found Jason Stout inside the home, along with a gun, and the drugs. Stout was taken without incident. Lunceford tells us Stout entered the Hampton Pharmacy shortly after noon yesterday with a gun. At the time, deputies only knew they were looking for a white man about 6-feet tall. He was believed to be driving that Maroon Ford Explorer with plastic on the right rear window. That's the information we're told that led to the capture of the suspect.
