Johnson City police: Man arrested after just missing wife with fired arrow
A Johnson City man is behind bars after police say he fired an arrow from his recurve bow that hit the wall just above his wife's head.
According to Johnson City police, 36-year-old James Burgess was arrested Sunday night and charged with domestic aggravated assault.
Officers responded to Horseshoe Bend in Johnson City just after 6:30 p.m. and made the arrest just before 7:50 p.m., following an investigation.
Burgess is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $25,000 bond. He is due in court Monday at 1:30 p.m.
