Johnson City School System needs community feedback

The Johnson City School System is looking for feedback from the community, while working towards a plan for two middle schools.

There will be ten meetings held throughout October, November, and December.

The meetings are to communicate the feasibility of transitioning to two 5 th through 8 th grade middle schools.

The presentations will take about fifteen to twenty minutes, and will focus on why the system would like to make the transition.

If you are not able to make it to your school's presentation, then you are welcome to attend any other dates.

The following is a list of locations, dates, and times for the meetings.

-Mountain View- Thursday, October 12 th at 6:00 p.m.

- Lake Ridge- Tuesday, October 17 th at 6:30 p.m.

- Woodland- Thursday, October 19 th at 6:00 p.m.

- Towne Acres- Monday, October 23 rd at 6:30 p.m.

- Indian Trail- Tuesday, October 24 th at 6:00 p.m.

- Cherokee- Tuesday October 24 th at 6:15 p.m.

- Fairmont- Tuesday, November 14 th at 6:30 p.m.

- North Side- Tuesday, December 5 th at 5:30 p.m.

- Liberty Bell- TBD
