Johnson City woman forces her way into occupied motel room
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - A Johnson City woman is arrested after an unusual case at a Johnson City motel.
Police say Rhonda Morrison told motel management at 11E Motel, on 3500 W. Market St. that she knew one of the guests and that he had medical problems. She said he could be dying.
Management unlocked the room to check on his well being, and they say Morrison forced her way inside.
The guest ran into the bathroom and locked himself inside, then Morrison locked herself inside the apartment and attempted to force the bathroom door open.
After a struggle with officers she was taken into custody for aggravated burglary and resisting arrest. She will appear in court on Tuesday. Her bond was set at $21,000.
