Passed-out driver booked on 11 charges in Church Hill
A Church Hill, Tennessee man was arrested and charged after officers found him passed out behind the wheel.
Bradley Lynn Knowles, 26, was found unresponsive inside a car parked at an apartment complex on Holliston Mills Road, Police Chief Mark Johnson said in a report issued Monday.
Knowles appeared to be under the influence when he stepped out of the car and when he was told he was being arrested, Knowles pulled away from the officers, got back in the car and locked the doors.
An officer had to use a baton to bust out the window of the car when Knowles refused to adhere to directives to exit, the chief said, and Knowles was then taken into custody.
Knowles faces a total of 11 charges including several drug violations after pills, marijuana and meth inside the car along with a handgun that police determined was stolen out of Carter County, TN.
