-------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Sullivan County Sheriff's office needs your help looking for a man wanted in connection with a homicide early Saturday morning.

Deputies say officers responded to Eatons Private Drive in Bristol, Tennessee just before 12:30 this morning.

They say they found the victim, Rowdy Yates, unconscious with a gunshot wound lying next to a camper in the woods behind the home.

The person who called officers says the victim was at the camper with Johnny Royston Junior and two women Friday night.

Officials say Royston is a person of interest for the investigation.

They say he has outstanding felony arrest warrants out of Virginia for violation of probation with original charges of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

In 2009 -- Royston had been charged with aggravated robbery and assault.

Deputies say he went into the Big Orange Market on Highway 126 put a knife to the throat of a clerk and demanded money.

District Attorney Barry Staubus says Royston's dad, Johnny Roytson Senior served time in prison for killing his live-in girlfriend in 1998.

He padlocked the trailer from outside and set it on fire.

Royston Sr. served just under 10-years of that sentence and was released in February 2009.

After being out of prison for 18-months, Royston Sr. tied up a woman with a rope around her neck... then beat and brutally raped her. He is still in prison for that incident.

Sheriff's department officials say they are looking for a turquoise or green Nissan pick up truck.

They say he is armed and dangerous.
