Police: Johnson City woman caught with assortment of drugs after running stop sign
A collection of drugs was found in the vehicle of a Johnson City who got pulled over for running a stop sign, police reported Wednesday.
Cynthia Y. Bowman, 33, is charged with possession of schedule II, III and VI drugs for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to a statement issued by Washington County, TN Sheriff Ed Graybeal.
A department K9 officer was brought in and alerted the officer to the potential of drugs in Bowman's car. Investigators recovered 41 packages of crack cocaine, 20 suboxone strips, 12 baggies of marijuana and an assortment of drug packaging and measuring accessories, the report said.
She was scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Sessions Court in Jonesborough and was being held on a $31,000 bond.
