Police: Woman found at Greene County camping area

Patricia Triantas has been found alive in a section of the Cherokee National Forest and is being transported to a local hospital for an evaluation.

The Greene County Sheriff's Department has issued a report Tuesday afternoon stating she had not been seen since Monday morning near her campsite.


A woman camping in a Greene County recreational area has not been seen Monday morning, police reported.

Patricia Ann Booker Triantas, 48, was last spotted near a campsite inside Horse Creek Campground in the Cherokee National Forest off of Highway 107, according to information released by the Greene County Sheriff's Department.

Triantas is described as a white female standing 5 feet 8 inches tall with brown hair and eyeglasses. She was last seen wearing a navy blue shirt, possibly blue jeans and no shoes, the department said.
