Respectful forums planned for Sexual Health Week at ETSU

East Tennessee State University has a variety of discussions and seminars scheduled for students as part of the annual Sexual Health Week event.

Religion and sex issues were among topics for Tuesday, giving an opportunity for students to learn more about historical views on the subject over the years.

"My simple hope is to just try to situate the biblical information data on sexuality and sex and love and romance within the biblical stories," said Campus Minister Davis Morgan who also represents the school's Reformed University Fellowship organization.

This marks the second time the school has sanctioned the event and the university's Student Government Association recently voted to fully-fund the activity after a vote previously that only provide a fraction of funding due to fear of backlash from state lawmakers.
