The Appalachian Men's Ensemble is an all-volunteer choir consisting of 30 different singers who come together from across the region to perform. They sing in a range of languages from Medieval Latin to German and French. Sunday's selections were their "Keys on Fire" performance to dozens of music lovers. "It's really a pleasure to work with them. I'm a lucky guy as conductor because the guys are so talented. We only rehearse generally eight times before each concert, so they do a lot of the work at home," said artistic director Alan Stevens. The group's next concert series will be May 19 in Johnson City and May 21 in Bristol.
