Name released in fatal Sullivan County motorcycle crash

Authorities have released the name of the man killed in a motorcycle crash on State Highway 75 in Sullivan County.
Steven Hall, 33 of Kingsport, was killed in the crash which occurred around 2:26 a.m. Monday.
Tennessee Highway Patrol said Hall was going north and crossed over the turn lane, then crossed both lanes going southbound. His motorcycle hit the curb and ran off the left side of the road.
The motorcycle flipped over the guard rail and hit a power pole. Hall was knocked off the motorcycle and hit a fence.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation reopened the highway just after 2 p.m. after crews from Bristol Tennessee Essential Services installed a temporary power pole.
A BTES official noted that electric service was restored at 4 a.m. Monday.
A highly traveled highway in Sullivan County is closed this morning as emergency crews investigate a deadly accident overnight.
Tennessee Highway Patrol officials confirmed Monday morning that troopers were investigating a fatal traffic crash along State Route 75 in Sullivan County. THP also said power crews were working to manage downed power lines in the area.
A detour has been set up near Herron Drive.
There is no word on the cause of the crash or the victim's identity.
