Suspect sought in strong armed robbery at Johnson City's Tennessee Title Loans
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. - A clerk at a Johnson City business was struck in the head several times with a gun by a robbery suspect who made off with money and jewelry from the victim and business, police said Wednesday.
The strong armed robbery took place Monday at Tennessee Title Loans at 2508 North Roan Street, according to the report. The clerk was forced at gunpoint to empty the cash drawers as well give her money and jewelry to the suspect who is described as a black male.
He was last seen running from the business and headed in the vicinity of Harbor House restaurant, police said. The suspect was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt or jacket, and dark colored pants. The victims also tells News 5 she remembers the man having bright blue eyes
She was transported to an area hospital for treatment and later released.
