UPDATE: $2,000 reward offered for info. on vehicular homicide suspect

The family of a Jonesborough woman killed in an alcohol-fueled crash in March posted a $2,000 reward Monday for information on the whereabouts of a man charged with her death.

Alan Mogollen-Anaya, 30, had already been convicted of driving under the influence three previous times when Washington County, TN Sheriff Ed Graybeal said Anaya crashed his vehicle head-on into an SUV, killing Shirra Branum, 37, and injuring her 9-year-old son.

Anaya is charged with one count of vehicular homicide. Graybeal reported last month that Anaya's blood-alcohol content was double the legal limit at the time of the crash.

He was nearly deported in August when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) picked him up after his work visa expired but he posted a $1,500 bond following his court hearing and he was given documents, the sheriff said, that kept him legally in the United States.

Graybeal also noted that ICE was informed when Anaya was arrested and convicted of the prior DUI offenses but they did not place a hold on him in those instances.

Anyone with information on Anaya's whereabouts can contact your local law enforcement agency or the Washington County, TN Sheriff's Office at (423) 788-1414 or email
