UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled - infant found safe, man in custody


MEMPHIS, Tenn. - UPDATE 9:25 a.m.

According to TBI spokesman Josh Devine, five-month-old Ayla Settles has been found and her non-custodial father, Alvin Lloyd, has been arrested.


The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation has issued a state-wide Amber Alert for a five-month-old taken by her non-custodial father.

TBI Agents say Ayla Settles was taken from her residence in Memphis by force at around 2 a.m. Tuesday.

Authorities are now looking for her non-custodial father Alvin Lloyd. According to agents, Lloyd has a criminal history and should be approached with caution. He fled the area with his daughter on foot and is believed to still be in the area. Agents say he was wearing a black hoodie and blue sweatpants.

Ayla is a black female with black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a red onesie.
