A Kingsport teenager suspected of killing one and injuring another in a Monday night shooting in the Lynn Garden community made his first court appearance Wednesday morning.

Tony Moosman, 18, appeared via video conferencing and was formally arraigned on charges of first-degree murder, felony murder, criminal attempt to commit first-degree murder and especially aggravated robbery.

His bond was set a $250,000 and has a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 2.

A second trip to Miller Village Apartments, where the suspect was spotted earlier in the day Tuesday, proved successful for officers in capturing Moosman, who was apprehended just after 11 p.m. after being sought by investigators following the deadly shooting at 391 Lynn Avenue 24 hours earlier.

Stephen Caudill, 18, was found dead outside an apartment. Clayton Ray, 20, was found wounded and is still being treated at an area hospital. Police said Moosman came to the complex to rob the two victims of drugs and money.
