Washington County, TN school bus involved in church parking lot fender-bender
UPDATE: 58-year-old Sandy Miller has been charged for improper backing after the crash. THP says the bus driver did not see a Toyota behind the bus when it tried to back up after dropping off two children.
Some parents in Washington County, Tennessee, had to pick up their kids from a school bus after a minor crash Thursday afternoon.
According to the school system, the crash occurred in the Five Oaks area. The driver was apparently trying to turn around in a church parking lot and backed into a car.
Grandview Elementary School students were on board, but no one was hurt. Parents were called to pick up their children. For those who couldn't pick them up, another bus was sent to finish the route.
