Bristol area business and community leaders came together for the 17th Annual Community Prayer Breakfast on Wednesday at Holiday Inn at Exit 7.

After breakfast was served, the guest speaker, John Kim, talked about how his family's life was changed through Christianity.

Kim is the pastor at an English speaking non-denominational church in South Korea. He is also the son of Dr. Billy Kim, the pastor of a Korean megachurch who retired in 2005 after 45 years in the pulpit.

News 5 spoke with Pastor Don Paxton who talked about why this event is so important.

"We want to let people know our faith is in the Lord. So it's a witness for that. It's also an opportunity to have an influence in the lives of other business men and women and encouraging them to be a witness to them," he said.

The event also featured entertainment from the FEBC Korean Children's Choir.
