Authorities: Largest meth dump site in southwest Virginia history discovered
An investigation in Wise County has led to the discovery of the largest meth lab dump site in southwest Virginia's history, according to authorities.
According to Pound Police Chief Tony Baker, 186 meth labs bottles had been dumped over an embankment on Old Mill Village Road in Pound. The discovery was made around 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Authorities from Pound, Dickenson County, and Wise County all responded. Virginia State Police also responded along with Hazmat teams from the Drug Task Force.
