Bristol leaders gather for annual prayer breakfast
BRISTOL, Va. —
Business leaders across Bristol gathered early Friday morning for a prayer breakfast.
This is the 19th year leaders have been making the commitment to get together as organizations and companies for the event. They see it as a way to connect with others and share their faith in the community.
"This brings a lot of business leaders together and helps us to be able to share what we think is important in the role of prayer in our businesses and in the community as a whole," Bristol, Tennessee mayor Jack Young said.
More than 35 organizations were represented at this year's event.
