Honaker man sentenced to 7 years for role in fatal crash
A Honaker man has been sentenced to seven years in prison for his role in the death of a passenger in a 2015 crash.
A jury found Clinard Gary Lambert guilty of aggravated involuntary manslaughter and driving under the influence following a two-day trial back in July.
The jury recommended a sentence of seven years in prison, which a judge agreed with Wednesday.
Witnesses testified that Lambert had just left a methadone clinic prior to the crash on Big A Mountain in Russell County in March 2015 which killed 27-year-old Forrest River Ramey. Lambert's blood work taken following the wreck revealed meth and other controlled substances in his system.
