Inmates at Blue Ridge Regional Jail stripped of privileges for stopping up toilets
Officials say 18 inmates at the Amherst County branch of the Blue Ridge Regional Jail have been charged with stopping up 12 toilets in one week.
Jail officials told our sister station WSET these are in-house charges, which means privileges like TV access are taken away.
Punishment could also mean moving an inmate from medium security to maximum security, which could exclude them from certain programs.
Jail officials say having so many charged in one week is uncommon.
