Man charged after stabbing in Marion, VA
A Smyth County, Virginia man is charged after a stabbing victim was discovered at the suspect's home.
Sheriff Chip Shuler said David Weber, 54, of the 2200 block of Kennedy Lane, Marion, VA, is charged with one count of malicious wounding.
Deputies arrived and found the victim with a large laceration to his arm at the home just after 9:30 p.m. Tuesday night. The victim was taken by medical helicopter to a Johnson City hospital where he was treated and released, the report said.
Weber is being held without bond in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon and is awaiting an arraignment hearing. The sheriff did not specify a motive in the case.
