UPDATE: Escaped USP Lee inmates captured in Mexico
LEE COUNTY, Va. - UPDATE 5/24: U.S. Marshals Service says Salah Mohamed and Kamal Qazah have been captured in Mexico. When Mexican authorities return the pair to the United States, the U.S. Marshals will take the pair into custody.

The U.S. Marshals Service is now offering a potential reward for information that leads to the capture of two USP Lee escapees. Authorities said they will offer up to $2,500 per escapee for information that leads to their capture.

The U.S. Marshals Service is looking for two men who walked away from USP Lee on Wednesday.
Chief Deputy U.S. Marshal Matthew Davis told News 5 the two men walked away from the prison camp.
Salah Mohamed and Kamal Qazah were last seen in the early morning hours of Wednesday.
Both men have release dates currently set in 2025.
They are in the camp on sentences for non-violent crimes.
Davis said citizens should use caution and report any believed sightings to the Marshals Service.

According to the USP Lee website, the all-male facility includes a high security penitentiary and an adjacent minimum security satellite camp.
There are more than 1,400 total inmates at the facility.
