Virginia State University lockdown lifted


Virginia State University in lock down over night, after a shooting.

Officials say things are returning to normal this morning.

VSU and Chesterfield County police responded to the campus around 11 last night.

Officers say one man was shot, and he was taken to the hospital with life threatening injuries.

Police believe this was a isolated incident and there is no longer a threat to the campus.

The campus lifted the lock down just before 2:30 this morning.

Police are still looking for the suspect.
