ETSU loses at UNCG; shares SoCon title with Furman and UNCG


ETSU lost their regular season finale at UNC Greensboro 72-66. The Bucs finished in a three-way tie for first with Furman and UNC Greensboro.

The Bucs trailed by as many as 16 in the second half before rallying to tie the game with less than four minutes to go. The Spartans though ended the game on a 13-7 run.

Based on the league tiebreaker, ETSU will be the #3 seed in the SoCon tournament. The Bucs will play #6 Mercer on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m. in Asheville, NC.

ETSU swept Mercer in the regular season.
