Hey remember when the NASCAR playoffs, then called the Chase of the the Championship, was just 10 drivers. Not really sure what made me take ya'll on that trip down memory lane, other than it's 10 days til the 500. So let's get to this countdown, here's today's driver:

Number 10- Ryan Blaney, Penske Racing

Ryan Blaney makes his return to Penske Racing after a few years out on loan at The Wood Brothers. Blaney is coming of a very successful season in which he won a race and made the NASCAR post season. Blaney has shown a ton of talent since he arrived on the Cup scene. There's no reason to believe he wont continue to improve this season.

The wildcard is his new car. Penske has tried being a three car operation before, and they have never worked out with three, With two they have been one of the top teams in the circuit, but for some reason as a three car team, Penske has been, meh. Of course, I don't think they have ever had three drivers as strong as the line up they have this season. So this could be a big season for Blaney and the boys. Guess we will just have to wait and see.
