Fresh spin on French toast

Sausage French Toast Rolls Ups

3 eggs

3 T. milk

1 tsp. vanilla extract

1 tsp. maple flavoring

8 Precooked sausage links (or uncooked links that you precook and drain)

8 slices of bread, crusts removed

In a rimed dish or bowl, blend eggs, milk, and flavorings. Set aside.

Place sausage link on bread slice and roll, pressing down gently so it stays.

Heat non-stick skillet on medium heat and melt a pat of butter or spray with cooking spray.

Dip each bread-wrapped sausage link in egg mixture, rolling it to coat all over and let the mixture soak in. Place in hot skillet and cook, turning to cook evenly on all sides.

Dust with powdered sugar. Serve hot with maple syrup. Leftovers can be reheated in the microwave,
