As the weather cools down, stink bugs invade our homes
As the stink bug population continues to explode, it's important to know how to react.
And as things cool down this coming week, be ready to see a lot more of these smelly critters in/around your home or work place.
It's simple science, really.
When it's cold outside, we heat up our homes. Stink bugs know that when it gets colder, it's time to 'over-winter.' Overwintering is just a fancy term for 'hibernating inside structures.'
Saturday and Sunday nights shouldn't be too bad, but with forecast low temperatures in the 30s Monday and Tuesday nights - watch out! These pests will be looking for any crevice or crack they can find.
