Armed robber makes off with cash from Johnson City credit union
Johnson City police are investigating the armed robbery of a credit union business Thursday afternoon in the downtown area.
An agency report said a white male suspect walked into Select Seven Credit Union at 333 East Main Street just after 3 p.m. carrying a gun and demanded cash.
No injuries were reported and investigators said he exited the union and ran toward Colonial Way.
The suspect is described as a male between 40 to 45-years-old wearing a baggy royal blue button-up shirt, black gloves, blue jeans, boots, blue baseball cap and sunglasses.
