Discovery's 'Street Outlaws' back at Bristol Dragway next month
BRISTOL, Tenn. —
Big Chief is headed back to Thunder Valley.
Bristol Dragway announced Monday plans for a second taping of Discovery's 'Street Outlaws.' The event comes just a year after the reality-based series got a standing room only crowd and scored big ratings for an extended special on the network.
The taping is scheduled for Tuesday, August 21 with gates opening at 11:30 a.m. and filming beginning at 1:30 p.m. Just like last year, admission is free. The only difference- the prize is $200,000. That's the biggest jackpot in the show's history and in non prep racing, the report said.
Murder Nova, AZN and Farmtruck and a cast of racers from across the U.S. are scheduled for the event. Some of the stars are also scheduled to participate in activities connected to next month's Monster Energy Series Bass Pro Shops NRA Night Race at Bristol Motor Speedway, the report said.
Limited parking is available for the event for $20 and $35 packages. Click here for more information.
The Bristol special is scheduled to air in early 2019, according to the network.
