Father, daughter arrested on arson charges in Kingsport
SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn. —
A man and his daughter have each been charged with arson following a fire last year in Sullivan County, and the father has also been charged with arson in connection with another fire.
The Sullivan County Sheriff's Office said the first fire was on August 29 in the 4300 block of Ridge Road in the Sullivan Gardens community and the second was on September 3 in the 3200 block of Fairbanks Street in the Bloomingdale area of Kingsport.
Ronnie Dale Johnson, 42, and his daughter, Ashlee Nicole Johnson have each been charged with arson and aggravated burglary in connection with the fire on Ridge Road. Ronnie Johnson was also charged with arson and aggravated burglary in connection with the fire on Fairbanks Street.
Ronnie Johnson remains in jail on a $17,500 bond following his arrest. Ashlee Johnson posted a $15,000 bond following her arrest.
