ELIZABETHON, Tenn. — Video evidence collected from a suspect's smartphone has resulted in attempted murder charged being filed against four people in Carter County, Tennessee.
Kasey Della Mae Miller, 31, was taken into custody on an unrelated charge when investigators found footage on her cell phone that captured the images of a man being beaten with with a baseball bat with the assistance of three men, according to a report from Sheriff Dexter Lunceford released Monday.
Miller, Matthew Duane Dye, 20, Ross Bee Kelly, 38, and Michael Todd Silcox, 41, are all charged with attempted first-degree murder, the report said. Miller also faces a charge of aggravated kidnapping.
All four are scheduled to appear in Carter County Criminal Court on Tuesday morning.
