A Greene County, Tennessee church is picking up the pieces a day after it caught fire.

The Warrensburg Baptist Church in the southern part of the county went up in flames Wednesday. Officials say they believe the fire started in the furnace room.

The structure is still standing... But the inside of the church was heavily damaged.

“We're fortunate there was a fire hydrant right down the road they stretched a main line up here where they had continuous water. They fought that blaze, they did whatever it took to get to the fire out,” said church deacon Jerry Miller.

No one was injured in the fire. The church is looking for volunteers to help clean up.
