A century-old building in Bristol is getting new life.

The E.W. King building was originally built in 1920 for a wholesale retail business.

Today, the building off Shelby Street in Bristol, Tennessee is the Bristol Renaissance Center.

It houses several office spaces including Deloitte, a global professional services company.

Employees moved into the space on Monday.

“Almost all of the people who work in our office are from the Bristol area. They were raised and grew up in this area. To be able to stay in Bristol in a professional-level job like Deloitte is absolutely amazing. What they’re investing in this building, and it means the world to us to have this great facility," Deloittte spokesperson Tracy Mumpower said.

Deloitte has grown from just six employees to more than 50 with future expansion planned in the new space.

The building features the original hardwood flooring and two conferences rooms named by employees as the “Carter and Cash” and “Sessions” rooms.
