A battle of the Kyles brought the Food City 500 down to the last few laps.

It was Rowdy Busch who got his seventh win at Bristol Motor Speedway and his second straight in 2018 and a race that saw several rain delays over the past two days.

Kyle Larson led a large amount of laps but Busch came on with a head of steam with just a few laps left to capture the win. It It was similar to battles the two had in the Xfinity Series a few years ago.

3. Jimmie Johnson

4. Ricky Stenhouse, Jr.

5. Alex Bowman

Busch is now fifth among drivers with the most wins at Thunder Valley. Darrell Waltrip has a total of 12 wins.

The racing was highly aggressive with some race teams using the strategy of trying to beat the rain. It was like the Bristol of old with some bump-and-run racing in the turns to get position.

Two days of 250 laps of racing also saw several lead changes including Bubba Wallace, Jr. in the Richard Petty Motorsports historic #43 leading for a lap. The lead changes hands 18 times, according to official data from BMS.
