Sullivan County — Gentlemen start your engines because NASCAR is back in business.
Race fans are regulars at a local Bristol restaurant
"People come in with their racing gear on with their favorite driver like Junior and all these other different people. Some people are obnoxious, and some of them are fun," says Applebee's Grill + Bar manager, David Deere.
Some local fans are counting down the days until NASCAR returns to Bristol Motor Speedway in April.
"We all get together, that way you don't have to go out on the town. Everyone lives close by and everybody knows everybody," says NASCAR fan, Dale Gilliam.
The Tennessee Peacemakers Motorcycle Club held its annual watch party in Sullivan County.
They had food, drinks and a big projector to watch the race.
Members say it's an annual tradition.
"It's a great group of guys, all just hanging out, enjoying the weather, getting ready for riding season and watch the race together," says NASCAR fan, Travis Statzer.
"We try to get everybody up here for every race party we have and we have one coming up for the spring race too," says NASCAR fan, Will Christian.
Members already have their tickets for the Bristol race in April.
