ROGERSVILLE, Tenn. — A man is behind bars in Hawkins County after authorities said he raped two different children under the age of 10.
Authorities said 33-year-old Jeremiah Dennis Long, of Broadway Drive in Bean Station, was being held by the Chambers County Sheriff's Department in Alabama. Hawkins County deputies traveled there Wednesday to transport Long to the Hawkins County Detention Center.
Court documents said one of the incidents occurred in 2016 and the other in 2017. Long was charged with two felony counts of rape of a child less than 13 years of age and one felony count of aggravated sexual battery.
He is being held on a $150,000 bond.
