One seriously injured, two arrested after stabbing, shooting at Johnson City motel

One person is in the hospital with serious injuries and two people are in jail following a stabbing and shooting incident at a Johnson City motel on West Market Street.

George Darrell Bray, Jr., 34, and Gregory Langdon, 47, both of Johnson City, are charged with aggravated assault after the incident that took place at the Park N' Stay Inn just after 9 p.m. Tuesday night, according to police.

Witnesses told investigators that Bray and the victim, identified as a 32-year-old man, were in an altercation in the motel's parking lot and Bray stabbed the victim multiple times. The victim was transported to a hospital and is currently listed in critical condition.

Eyewitnesses also said that Bray struck the victim with a car as he left the property and Langdon was seen firing a pistol at Bray's car. Police also said the motel's video surveillance captured Langdon shooting the weapon.

Bray was arrested at a family residence and is being held in the Washington County Detention Center on a $100,000 bond. Langdon later returned to the motel and was arrested. He's being held in jail on a $50,000 bond.
