One suspect related to September abduction of SW Virginia teen at large; 3 others indicted
Washington County, Virginia authorities are asking for the public's help in locating an Abingdon man charged in an abduction case from earlier this summer.
Sheriff Fred Newman said Barry Andrew Glenn, 52. of Hayters Gap Road, was indicted on one count of conspiracy to commit abduction related to the case of a missing Southwest Virginia teen that was located at an abandoned home on Rivermont Road in Meadowview in September.

Newman also said in the report that three other individuals face charges in the same investigation following their indictment by a grand jury.
Leroy VanMeter, 45, of Meadowview, who was originally charged with one count of abduction when the girl was first recovered now faces 50 counts of production of child pornography, 20 counts of indecent liberties with a child, plus one count of conspiracy to commit abduction, allowing a minor to be present during the manufacturing of methamphetamine and distribution of meth to a minor.
John Charles Pender, 68, and Carla Norris Allen, 37, are both charged with conspiracy to to commit abduction while Pender faces an additional charge of rape.
Those three are being held in the Southwest Virginia Regional Jail in Abingdon awaiting trial.
