Police: Shoplifter swipes $400 in merchandise from Belk in Kingsport

The Kingsport Police Department wants your help in identifying a suspected shoplifter who stole merchandise from the Belk store inside the Fort Henry Mall earlier this month.

Surveillance footage from the store on June 18 captured just after 8 p.m. and examined by investigators shows a woman entering the store empty handed then grabbing four handbags and putting them over her shoulder.

She exits the store with the bags valued at $400.
