Authorities have charged a Rogersville woman with her fourth DUI offense after they say she crashed into a utility pole which knocked out power and closed all lanes of traffic on U.S. Highway 11W in Hawkins County Tuesday night.

Tennessee Highway Patrol said a Mustang driven by 47-year-old Kimberly Stapleton was going south on U.S. Highway 11W when the vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a utility pole near Arrowhead Drive. The car finally came to rest on the northbound side of Highway 11W.

All lanes of traffic were shut down due to power lines in the roadway. One lane has reopened Wednesday morning.

Stapleton was charged with DUI (fourth offense), driving on a revoked license, failure to exercise due care, and possession of suspended registration.

No injuries were reported.
