TBI: Endangered child alert issued for 12-year-old girl
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting the Smithville Police Department by issuing an endangered child alert in East and Middle Tennessee.
Briella Reese Bowling, 12, could be traveling in the company of her non-custodial mother Wendy Dawn Hancock, 42, who is currently wanted on charges of domestic assault and contributing to the delinquency of a child, the report said Wednesday.
The TBI says the pair could be traveling in silver 2018 Chevrolet Equinox with TN license plate BMK-994.
Briella was last seen in Smithville on Aug. 8. She is 4 feet 3 inches tall weighing 115 pounds with blonde eyes and blue hair.
Hancock is 5 feet 6 inches tall weighing 124 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes.
