Tennessee Senator Bob Corker to address ETSU graduates
Retiring U.S. Senator Bob Corker is one of two keynote speakers invited to address graduates at East Tennessee State University next weekend.
The Johnson City school is planning two commencements on Dec. 15 and Corker is scheduled to speak at the 3 p.m. ceremony at the Mini-Dome.
The speaker for the 10 a.m. commencement speaker will be Bethany Flora, the incoming president of Northeast State Community College and current ETSU Center for Community Leadership associate director.
Corker, a former Chattanooga mayor, announced earlier this year his intentions to leave the Senate. His seat was won by Marsha Blackburn in last month's mid-term elections.
