The Band Perry lead singer Kimberly Perry has confirmed that she has filed for divorce from her husband of four years, professional baseball player J.P. Arencibia.

People magazine posted the information that included a quote issued by Perry on her Instagram account.

The two met at the Florida Strawberry Festival in 2012 and then they got married at the First Presbyterian Church in Greeneville in June 2014 with such guests as Miranda Lambert and Carrie Underwood in attendance.

People reported that Perry filed the necessary paperwork in Greeneville court citing irreconcilable differences.

The band jumped from the country to the pop ranks last year when they signed with Interscope Records.
