Train vs car collision in Sullivan County
SULLIVAN COUNTY, Tenn--Two people are lucky to be alive after a train hit a car in the Tri-Cities.
According to Capt. Andy Seabolt with the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office the driver of the car became stuck on the railroad tracks on Broyles Lane near the intersection of Vance Tank Road.
Everyone was able to get out of the vehicle, before the Norfolk Southern train struck it.
Railroad employees said there was very minimal damage to railroad property.
No charges will be filed.
